Because of the widespread dislocation from the early 1800’s as early Europeans began travelling South, Ngarigo were more affected than many in being dispersed from Country. Many Ngarigo continue to live away from Country, reconnecting when possible but contributing to the rebuilding of Ngarigo Nationhood through remote activities, some of which are described here.
